Ten members of the
Society now form an active group on Flickr, the photo-sharing web site, where they regularly upload their photographs
for the enjoyment and amusement of others and for comment.
Flickr is free to join, and you can have your own “photostream” for your
images. This might be attractive if you do not have a web site of your own. You are allowed to upload 100 MB freely each month,
which is probably sufficient for most people. However if you do want to go the whole hog and upload all of your photo files
then you will probably have to join Flickr at the “pro” level, and pay a fee.
The St Andrews Photographic
Society group on Flickr was Victoria’s inspiration and we are grateful to her for maintaining these particular
pages.

Once again this year, members of St Andrews Photographic Society
have participated in a project to publish a book of their photographs using an on-demand publisher. For a few months
some members have been working in groups towards this, and we now have the fruits of our labours ib print form. You can see
this (and even purchase a copy) by going to: www.blurb.com/bookstore and then searching for St Andrews Photographiic Society.
If you would like to find our more about this project then just let Stan
know.
